The 2010 season is finally here! The season kicked off at Cedar Lake Speedway with some highs and lows. Friday April 9th Shawn Kammerud drew the pole and took advantage of that by winning the heat race. The feature I wasn’t so lucky having the ignition switch go out and not finishing.
Saturday night I started deeper in the heat race and finished fourth. For the feature event I started in the 8th spot. Most of the race I was in a three wide battle with Mike Loomis and Rich Bishop for the fifth spot. I finished the night in 7th.

The Kammerud Racing Team made the trip up to Superior Wi for the Northern Nationals. I came in the gate drawing a 21 which gave me the outside pole for the heat race. The start of the race I was little off and the 66 got the jump, but a yellow came out and I got another shot at good start. I got a good start jumping into the lead and never looking back. After winning the heat I went to the scale and got yet another good draw putting me on the outside pole for the feature.
After a bunch of hard work in the pits the hot rod was ready for the feature. The green dropped for the feature and I pulled into the early lead. After about ten cautions and 30 regular laps Shawn Kammerud and Kammerud Racing Team got the WIN!!! Thanks everyone for their help and support.
